Welcome, Rev. Rhonda McClain & Dr. Rodgery McClain!
Woodland proudly welcomes Rev. Rhonda McClain and Dr. Rodgery McClain. We ask that the congregation pray daily for Rev. McClain and her Family as we prepare spiritually, cognitively, and emotionally for our new chapter. Pray for a spirit-led, and mission-focused trajectory. We challenge all members and ministries to co-labor with Rev. McClain in this transformative work of demonstrating grace, sharing the good news, and equipping disciples.
Sunshine Bags
The Evangelism and Outreach Ministry will deliver Sunshine Bags on Saturday, May 4th. Please meet at the church 12 noon to stuff.
Mother’s Day Celebration!
Join the Worship Ministry in Celebration of Morther’s Day on Sunday, May 12th during our Morning Worship Service. Please wear purple in honor of all mothers. A photo backdrop will be available to take photos with your families and refreshments will be served following the service.
Bingo @ Saturn Nursing & Rehab Center
The Evangelism and Outreach Ministry will visit Saturn Nursing and Rehabitation Center on Saturday, May 18th at 2:30 PM for Bingo.

Graduation Sunday

Graduation Sunday is a celebration for all Woodland graduates of 2024. We will honor our graduates both high school and college on Sunday, June 23 during morning worship with a procession. All graduates will wear their regalia for this occasion. If you are a baptized or active member of Woodland Presbyterian Church and would like to be recognized on Graduation Sunday, please submit your name to Diane Brodie or call 704-712-6011.

Our new family registration process will not only allow you to update all your information but will also allow you to view all our many ministries and join the groups you wish to hear from. Also, in 2024, we will be highlighting birthdays and anniversaries in our weekly email blasts!

Children’s Church
We will have Children’s Church on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays. Please have those desiring to participate to report to the Fellowship Hall upon arrival to allow the lessons to start at 10am.

Walking Into 2024 Standing on God’s Promises!
Together, Woodland walked around the church 7 times on the 7th day of 2024! We’re praying that this bold act of faith will bring down any walls that may block Woodland’s blessings this year. We’re claiming abundance, overflow, growth, & prosperity in 2024!

Trip to Nativity According to the Gospels
Woodland had a wonderful time last Saturday during an outing to @hanesbrandstheatre to see Nativity According to the Gospels! Everyone enjoyed dinner together at Sweet Potatoes afterwards. Special thanks to the Evangelism & Outreach Ministry for organizing this amazing outing!

The Evangelism & Outreach Ministry visited Saturn Nursing Home on Saturday, Nov. 18th to fellowship with the residents over Bingo!

Thank you for your support for the Summer Enrichment Camp at The Wood! The kids have all enjoyed themselves. As camp comes to its final week, the kids expressed their gratitude for all the helping hands that made Summer Camp at The Wood possible, including The Presbytery of Charlotte and the Session at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church.
